tapping into joy,

transforming your life through
Emotional Freedom Techniques and Hacking Reality

About Me

Welcome! I’m deb and I’m so glad you’re here! This is where you get to learn about why I feel SO passionate (yeah, I confess, I’m a tapping geek!) about sharing EFT and Hacking Reality with you.

These tools have powerfully transformed my life. How?

Well for starters, let’s face it: life on 21st century Earth is super-stressful. For everyone. And it can be difficult to deal with that effectively. Oh sure, there’s a ton of self-help books and courses we can take. Sometimes we even get temporary relief. But inevitably it seems, sooner or later life slides back into the same old-same old. Then it’s back into the hamster wheel, looking for the next ‘quick fix.

I get it. Been there, seen and done that too, both in my own life and in my trauma therapy practice of over 30 years. I’ve had over 3 decades of searching for the best tools to help relieve stress and dissolve our human trauma bonds… to help us move out of the old stress patterns that dog us… and into embracing our unique human potential, to reclaim living in greater joy and creativity.

And helping you find your way to doing that, with as much ease and efficiency, creativity and fun, is my utter passion. Welcome to my world, where tapping is a seriously miraculous tool for personal transformation. One that’s needed now, perhaps more than ever.

If you’re done, so done, with the same old, same old stories that you’ve been tripping over, in spite of all your efforts to either escape or get rid of them, then…

C’mon in – to step into living your preferred reality (including sometimes in alternative timelines) where you get to step into your soul’s possibilities, into your Light.

Does that sound impossible? Implausible? Or at best unlikely?

It seemed so to me too. Until I fell into a year of deep grief and personal loss. Honestly, I thought I’d never find my way out! But at some point, I remembered tapping (something I’d originally learned in 2008 and had had some pretty, well, miraculous experiences with, in my therapy practice).

So, I began to practice it again – first on easily measurable experiences. It began with my spontaneous nosebleeds, that emerged as a physical manifestation of my increased stress and grief after my dad died. Tapping for about 30 minutes stopped my nose from gushing blood. I mean, it stopped the bleeding cold – like turning off a tap. Somehow, I realized something profound had happened. So I kept on tapping on other aspects of my grief too.

Then one of my adult children decided, under extremely difficult and complex circumstances in his life, to step away from our ongoing relationship. Turns out I didn’t really know about all the multi-faceted levels of grief until I experienced being unexpectedly overwhelmed with this loss of my (now adult) child. My unconscious trauma capsules (yep, a whole bunch of them) were not only rattling about and breaching as a result – they were utterly smashed. I felt like Humpty Dumpty after the Fall. Thank goodness for tapping! For months, I tapped daily to clear out all the aspects of ancient grief that I was re-experiencing through what was happening in my current life.

Then I discovered Hacking Reality…

It changed my life. Seriously. Powerfully. Not all at once mind you, but gradually like a snowball slowly gathering momentum as it rolls downhill, Hacking Reality reshaped who I see myself being, and what I can expect from life. I felt like I’d somehow stepped back into the driver’s seat of my life again. Right from the very first session, I knew I needed to learn more about this powerfully transformative tool.

Within a few months, I was trained in both Emotional Freedom Techniques and Hacking Reality. Then I embarked on my ‘apprenticeship’ (accreditation process) and the rest is history. I have not looked back, except in gratitude for the overwhelming relationship-grief that brought me knocking on the door of tapping and Hacking Reality.

I share these personal details from my life in part to give you some information about who I am and some of the massive struggles I have faced in my own life… and also to gift you with hope, in whatever situation you are now in.

In addition to over 30 years as a trauma therapist with children and families, I also know from personal experience both the depths of grief, hopelessness, helplessness, despair and human suffering – as well as having the tools to free myself… to find my inner peace and joy again.

And to support you (if it resonates) in clearing away whatever keeps you chained in old human patterns of fear-based life. It is possible to clear it. This I know both from my own experience, as well as from witnessing incredible change and remarkable transformation in others too.

This is my passion, my purpose, in sharing these tools with others

And I would be honoured to walk with you for a time on your healing journey.

Aside from clear descriptions of the tools I use and my services, I’ve tried to also offer some tasty tidbits of areas I’ve explored, led by my interests/skills, in the realms of creating change. It’s all intended to give you some sense of me, to see if there’s some resonance between us for working together.

We humans are on the doorstep of co-creating and integrating vast changes in our human operating system. It’s an upgrade in love. But in order to experience it, we first need to clear out some of our old programming that keeps us stuck in old fear-based ways of experiencing, or at least perceiving, what’s possible.

Please do feel free to have a wander about my website. If what I offer resonates with you, I’d be honoured to ‘work’ with you. This focus really is my passion.

I’ve included the possibility of a free 20-minute consultation, in case you think you’d like to see whether we ‘click.’ Or, if you feel you’d like to experiment with our collaborating to change something in your life, please do feel free to reach out and set up a session. I’d love to work with you, if that resonates.

You are most welcome to book a free 20 minute zoom consultation here.

Or, book a session here.
